Rushco and Miara Transportation were contracted to transport a total of 60 generators to a data center. The set consists of a generator, custom made enclosure, and separate fuel tank. The fuel tank can be transported with the generator and enclosure or separately depending on the dimensions of the load.The purpose of an enclosure is to protect the generator from inclement weather, balance airflow, and reduce noise. This project utilized trailers equipped to carry 100,000 pounds, with the weight of one generator coming in at around 92,000 pounds. Executing this job requires skilled truck drivers and experienced escort vehicle operators, the type of team we are known for.
